About Me

JB-0646.jpg

Born and raised in Hamilton, ON, I'm a musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, actor, and music director based in Ontario, Canada. I hold a Bachelor of Music Honours in Composition (primary instrument piano) from Western University's Don Wright Faculty of Music. In the years since my graduation I have worked at dozens of professional theatres across the country as an actor, singer, musician, music director, composer, and sound designer.

I spent 2023 as the Shaw Festival Metcalf Intern, apprenticing in music direction at the Shaw Festival under revered Shaw Festival music director Paul Sportelli, and my writing partner Michael Kras and I were artists-in-residence at Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton, working on our new electro-pop chamber musical a how-to guide for the not-yet viral.

I released Fridge Magnet Symphony, my debut album as a singer-songwriter, in May 2023. The album is a blend of a number of genres, including folk, pop, rock, R&B, and country, and is available to stream on all platforms.

I arrange, orchestrate, sound design, and record rehearsal tracks piano tracks on commission, and I teach a small roster of private music students. For any business inquiries, please email me through the "Contact" tab.
